The Department of Physics was established in the year 1962 and P.G. classes were started in the year 1966. The intake of the department for U.G classes is 160+40 Stats Group and for P.G classes is 20. At present Head/In charge of the department is Dr. (Smt.) Neelam Sinha . This department is also recognized for research center by the university.
