The faculty of Arts of S.D. College is well renowned and is running scousfully since last almost eight decades. All the teachers of Arts faculty are well qualified and efficient in teaching. There are U.G and P.G coursesrunning in subjects like English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Political Science, History, Geogrtaphy, Economics, and Drawing & Painting, Physical Education, Library Science are offered at U.G level only. All the P.G departments are research centers and many faculty members are enggaged in supervising Research scholars and many candidates have been awarded Ph.D. degrees and have qualified NET and JRF.
