The Department of Chemistry was established in the year 1962 and P.G. classes were started in the year 1965. The intake of the department for U.G classes is 80+160=240 and for P.G classes is 20. At present Head/In charge of the department is Dr Sanjay Kumar Arora . This department is also recognized for research center by the university.
