Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an endeavour of the government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence. It acknowledges the glorious history of the people of India and memorializes their culture and achievements. Its official journey commenced on 12th March 2021 with a 75 week countdown to our 75th anniversary of Independence. The five themes of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav are Freedom Struggle, Ideas@75, Resolve@75, Actions@75 and Achievements@75.
Numerous activities and programmes have been assigned to educational institutions under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav pertaining to the above mentioned themes. The Staff members and students of S.D. (P.G.) College, Muzaffarnagar have been successfully organizing all the programmesrelated to Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav since its inception.
