The Department of Zoology was established in the year 1970 and P.G. classes were started in the year 1982. The intake of the department for U.G classes is 80 and for P.G classes is 20. At present Head/In charge of the department is Dr Shekhar Chand. This department is also recognized for research centre by the university.
